What kind of space is made available?
Space is available at Centre Court for larger groups such as our Annual Charity Bazaar, Active Living Fair, Surrey Reads, Kids Walk, Rotary Book Club and Science Fair.
Who can use the charitable locations?
Guildford Town Centre offers free space to non-profit charitable organizations for the purpose of fundraising and information awareness activities.
Each organization can apply to use Guildford Town Centre’s complimentary space for one week, once per year, so that as many different non-profit organizations as possible can use the space. Due to the busy holiday season, Guildford Town Centre, hosts only the Salvation Army Kettles and the Surrey Christmas Bureau during the months of November and December.

What sorts of charitable organizations will Guildford Town Centre host?
Guildford Town Centre evaluates all proposals and strives to cater to a diverse blend of charities and non-profit organizations. We work with schools, local agencies, The Centre for Child Development, Surrey Food Bank, Surrey Christmas Bureau, Vancouver Symphony and Vancouver Opera. We also host national non-profit agencies such as the BC Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Boys Scouts, Girls Guides, Salvation Army, SPCA and many more.
Last year Guildford Town Centre hosted over 100 charities and non-profit agencies and raised over $130,000 plus hundreds of toys for the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
During the Christmas season, Guildford Town Centre assists certain non-profit agencies to raise money or goods for the less fortunate. Our Gift Wrap Centre is staffed by volunteers from the Surrey branch of the Canadian Cancer society, and through donations they raised over $75,000.00 since 2000.
